This past weekend Drew Vandergriend and I headed to Kamloops to ride with Matt Brooks. We ended up with one day without wind and perfect weather to check out the bike park and surrounding hits. I was giving a run through on the new Deity parts that just hit stores. Edit by Drew, song by Empire of the Sun "Half Mast"

I started riding a few years ago and only recently started to hit doubles semi confidently. Unfortunately I just broke my foot in three places on a small jump at highland. I was so surprised when the doc told me It would take me three to four months till I can walk again. I guess on the bright side it's winter. I can't wait till next season

4 Months?! Bummer! Glad you are looking on the bright side. With Highland as your home mountain, you will be sending big gaps in no time

Yeah DOOOOD sooooo sick!!!! Huge ass booters man I couldn't imagine sending it off something as big as those. It must feel so crazy with all that hangtime. I can only imagine how bad my hands would be shaking rolling into jumps that size. Great edit for sure.

Thanks man! I threw a no-hander off the wedge to hip, but jumped outta the frame, so Ill have to get it next time. No reason you can't work up to gaps and jumps that big! Just keep riding your bike and pushing yourself!

Actually looks a lot like New Mexico freeriding. Some of those hits look huge but the song makes them seem too mellow.

In some aspects the dirt was similar, but no cactus... Some of those hits were huge Wink

I am planning my next big mountain edit and the music wont be mellow, but I think it works well for this edit
