Harald Philipp & Martin Falkner explore the Ortler region with their bikes, riding some gnarly summits and steep slopes.
I read in a magazine "The word ""epic"" is defined as a long poem, typically one derived from ancient oral tradition, narrating the deeds and adventures of heroic or legendary figures or the history of a nation. In the mountain bike dictionary, the word steals ""the deeds and adventures of heroic or legendary figures"" and adds ""while on a 30 - 50 mile mountain bike ride"". Epic rides were the reason mountain buikes were invented and still many may represent the strongestargument for thier existance.
Now, if you look at an epic simply in terms of mileage or time in the saddle, you are missing the point. sure, you could ride four 10 mile loops to accomplish an epic-length ride, but mileage alone does not make it epic. it is riding deep into the back country that truly defines an epic ride. riding to a location in one day that few hikers could make in two days is a reward that will last far longer than the memory of your tired legs or sunburned arms." And I think this video couldnt get anymore epic!...
Just a beautiful film thank you guys

Honestly, I'm in awe. That's such a epic and beautiful story and video, Im going xc riding today and every time i get tiered I'll think to my self, wtf they climbed mountains so man up and push on! SICK VOD.
I was on a flight over the alps this week on my way into Italy, certainly the most beautiful place in the world. I remember looking down thinking, "wish I could ride my bike down there". Sadly I cant, so this video will just have to do, and a good one at that
are these the same people who made coffee in a VOD a few months ago, when people were all upset about coffee in a video? awesome video for sure, too bad im working and cant get my stoke on!
This kind of videos are the ones that make you get on your bike and ride it for all the time that you want, if when i grow up, and im still being able to ride my bike (for sure i will be doing it!), I want to have that kind of life... just 4 more years, and I will do a radical change on my life, im no kidding, @infinitetrails. Thank you for share a part of your lifes in 8 minutes, you guys give me inspiration for not to sit on my butt this afternoon and get some EPIC riding!

nice video, really captures the most important aspect of mountainbiking: the mountain. real mountainbiking, where it is the mix between all sorts of disciplines (downhill, XC, enduro, and trial). LOVE it

Just the pure skill of these guys is amazing enough to make it VOD, the add the EPIC videography and scenery makes it the BEST VID OF PINKBIKE.
I'll be honest I haven't even finished watching this yet but already I feel the need to say congratulations on this, I haven't any words to describe how good it is, but it really is breath taking, well done guys
wow guys that was a great vid. its nice to see some trail riding (and some climbing haha) for a change. nice skills on the rocky technical stuff as well. to me this is what mountain biking is all about; just an adventure with your buddies riding amazing landscapes. that snow looks super fun as well! this vid is refreshing, and inspiring.

Paused studying for an AP history test to watch this vod...probably shouldn't have because now I can't think of a good reason I need to study a textbook about the world rather than on my bike actually experiencing the world.
everytime i watch this video it just makes me want to go ride! this is seriously one of my favorite videos, i love everything about it, music choice, trails riding everything its just awesome!
god damn that's insane, the fear isn't in the speed or any huge jumps, it's the sheer drop that's below if you make the slightest miscalculation, that's a feeling you'd never forget!
That frigid looking stream crossing just made me shudder -- BRRRRRR! Kudos to the riders and camera man, you guys are surely MEN.
Please tell me those two guys are fully sponsored by a major bike company. They deserve it, and that video would certainly help sell a bike. Just awesome!
