After seeing this last Friday night at the Bellingham InsideOut premiere(!) i was ready to buy it. The hilarious Bellingham crew just kills it when on bikes. And even as amazingly Incredible Insideout was this short Klunker documentary was just as enjoyable.
Great that someone showing the klunkerz on the pinkbike. Those bikes are just awesome, it shows that you can have fun with any bike as long as it goes downhill. Here is a movie about history of klunkerz www.youtube.com/watch?v=h19n-5qIp78. Have fun watching this.
Love it, got my first clunker type bike when i was six think it was a super deluxe, i was the terror of every walker in the woods, the film BMX bandites made me try all sort of crazy stuff on it.
Throw the 29´r away, here come the clunkers, next thing, specialized will start spewing them out in exchange for yer dough..
Mtb its not about the bicycle you ride its about how you ride your bike.
Its about building about effort and frienship.
Dude how the f*ck r they hauling that much balls on atomic dog!? Dude i broke my collar bone at that fish hatchery jump!
haha sick vid u guys r shreding!
Way past Gary Fisher's level! I've been wanting to take the beach cruiser up on Mt. Tam for a while so thanks for even more motivation.

Requesting Transition makes a durable Klunker frame. Don't know where to find a frame I can trust, and this looks like way too much fun right now.
Most of us are just rocking old steel Schwinns from the 60's and 70's. Not that I wouldn't love to have Transition to make one, but there are lots of old cruiser bikes that can be converted to a proper klunkin' machine for cheap. Besides, that's the klunkin' style....it ain't about having someone hand you a built up rig.
