Dude thanks for posting that Video haha I showed my boss at Family Cycling Center my rim and he hooked it up with a brand new D-Max Rim so we should go hit that thing again, but this time I'll clear it haha, first time was perfect just a little over cleared so I figured I give it a little less speed and then it didn't work out to well, but sick footage haha, dude you should message me your number and we should go riding, you can shuttle with me and my buddies to if you want
haha right on man! were going again this saturday around noon if you guys wanna cruise. thats sick you got a new front wheel hookup! as bad as your crash was im stoked i got it on gopro haha.
Yah dude I have Nationals for swimming coming up next week so I don't want to get hurt before but after I'm so down, Yah dude I mean I wasn't even sore the next day, juts a few scratches, so not a biggie, just my rim was done haha, but yah dude send me your number in a message and I'll for sure call you up when we go riding in a couple weeks, yah the footage turned out great, and sick dj bike dude
Dude i was checking my bike over and after looking at the video I don't think I cased it, my spokes were super loose so I think my rim just collapsed and it stopped my wheel from rolling cause in the video I'm clearly over the landing and I didn't think I went that slow off of it
Its pretty recent. I was there with my buddy about a month ago and we talked to a guy who wanted to rebuild this drop, he was taking measurements.
@downhiller9000 never found anyone else thats swims competitively and rides!!! Good to know there are more people like me out there!!!
Whoa, thanks for posting this. Glad you both came out OK in the end.
I know it says "came up a little short", but it looked OK by watching at 00:32 - weird.
So, is this pretty much the same size/height/distance/speed as the previous/destroyed one? I guess I'll have to go see it myself soon.

Yah it looks like I cleared it but my spokes just exploded, they were a little loose so my wheel just bent out of shape haha, yah it shoots you a little more up than the previous one but still fun
Glad you guys were okay after that. FYI was there Sun and a sketchy dude in a gray sweat shirt was walking around with a bucket on his cell most of the time. Seemed like was was scouting it out and telling someone about I over the phone. Thought I saw a hammer or hatchet in in bucket. There were a bunch of us there. Tried to be friendly with him, but he wasn't too smiley. Someone said he mentioned the landowners bellow the zone don't like us there. Shoulda taken a photo of him. Hope the new shit isn't cut down by next week....
How'd he hang up? Look like he was okay, then somehow bent his rim? or did the rim just crush on impact and stop him?...nice catch on film
we were both able to walk away unscathed and he just came up a little short and tacoed his front tire. stoked i was wearing my gopro haha
Tyler, thanks for letting me follow you on this one today. Awesome that the ladder is back!
I'll check back your page later again for the photos your friends were taking today.

Nice catch Tyler, I am glad to see your buddy was alright as well. No joke, he was shovlin down the dirt. Just the front wheel? No frame damage I hope? Thanks for the GNARLY dash bro.
