it amazes me that silvia films haven't made even single video that isn't stunning. Great song choice created a mysterious mood and the moment when Matty appears behind the trees like from nowhere intensified the vibe to the max. Kind of reminds me of Life Cycles forest trails segments.

only problem im seeing is some of those shots ive seen in about 3 previous films made by you guys. either you havent gone out filming for a while or you have a lot of shots you havent used yet.

AvidDJ, this was shot almost exclusively with cable cam setups. Do you realize how much time it takes to set up cable cam shots? I thought this video was sick, the only part I didn't like was the beginning without a rider. I think it deserves VOD because of the quality of the camera work.

I don't care what people say. This is pure gold. Anyone that has any experience with filming can appreciate the time and effort that has to go into filming to get even one of these shots. Awesome video. Well done again guys.

i spent a 1 minute looking at slowmo cable cams of trees, and then another minute looking at slowmo shots of riding so I didn't like it. but that said sylvia is the best and hes still my fave. slowmo is just cliché now.

Agreed. While some people may disagree, i think this is some of their best work to date. The lighting is sick, and while the intro feels long, it has you thirsty for when matty shreds into view in the first corner. The chill music added another nice element.

yes it had a lot of slow mo but every edit doesn't have to be fast paced and go go go all the time....it was still sick very chill admire the cinematography the riding the forest...the video goes beyond ripping a bike down a trail......DEEEEP

how is this deep? it carries no massage or meaning other than spring riding in my eyes. dont over analyse this is its just chilled, i dont like it but i admire the beautiful landscape and the cinematography it just dosent entertain me.

I couldn't make a better film myself, that said. Pretty average, and probably the lowest rated of silvia films. Only +1 to this film was the chill with the music going with the slow mo shots of the riding.

Did anyone else get the feeling that these were all the shots they didn't nail... or just test shots?
It would be nice to see what's going on... I know it's 'arty' and cool not to have the rider in the shot, or out of focus, etc, but...
