Up Telegraph, 1/2 bike, 1/2 hike a bike. Up the road to the tippity top of national, down to mormon trail, then down the Pima road to Desert Classic trail back, 22.16 miles ridden, with a ride time of 1:55. elevation gain 1200 to initial summit, +/- a few hundred feet on the return to the house.
that is a pretty sweet trail, and trust me it looks really nice after being snowed in for two days now (damn thought it would never snow), quite gnarly though and looks really fun and fast perfect for an AM bike like the enduro. also which camera do you use? I want to start filming and i was looking at the contour roam
Thanks, it's a good trail to have so close for sure... It's a rough winter in montana as well(where I grew up....) but the camera is a gopro HDHero2(I don't know the order) I got it as a gift, and was actually looking to buy one all fall. I did some research, and I think they both do basically the same thing, the main reason I wanted the GoPro as It's the only one i'd seen, and been able to touch and get a sense for. I'd still like to see the contour as the GPS seems like a pretty cool feature.
The missoula stuff had the potential to be more tacky, but in the worst of dry summer conditions would be like this. Certainly different scenery! my only issue is that I've had to trust my tires far more than I would, as many of these corners are super blown out, and loose as all hell... I've never ridden on so many exposed rocks in my life! really fun though, as it's totally different...
Thanks! I'm enjoying the video process, although I still feel entirely inept at making it look better than slapping it from the card to the computer.
it's pretty damned fun, the one I'm going to video tomorrow is also sick. it feels like a bmx track. I just hope I can get it without too many people hiking...
