luckily it was the 2nd run and I cleared it on the 1st run whihc gave me a time and I got 5th in category..not bad for my 2nd ever race.

forks seem OK and wheel is fine - apart from bearings in hub which needed doing anyway..

I think it would just destroy his wheel before it snapped the fork
