Great video and awesome riders, really dig it. But not a big fan of his, "...mountain biking belongs in the mountains" comment. Really? So if the rest of us are to call ourselves 'mountain bikers' we should move to the mountains?

So you'd be cool if aaaallllllll of us mountain bikers who don't live in the mountains suddenly migrated to your hipster little mountain town? I'm sure you wouldn't complain about your local mountain biking scene exploding by a factor of 50. We could also bring our Starbuck's chains and WalMarts with us if you'd like.

Hey kid, not everyone gets to live an over-privileged life in the mountains and camp in North Face tents (you must be soooo adventurous)....some of us have to work for a living and take a job wherever we can. Maybe it's in the mountains, maybe it's in Omaha, Tallahassee or Albuquerque. I'm glad you're gettin' to live the life, I truly am, but don't take cheap shots at us working folk living outside of the mountain ranges just because you think you're more hard core than us.

I'm pretty sure he's not taking pot shots at mountain bikers who don't live in the mountains. It's more of a comment about using mountain bikes to their fullest potential, to push them (and the sport) to the limit. It's not that it's impossible to advance the sport in Omaha or Tallahassee, it's that mountain bikes perform best on the terrain they were designed for. In Aggy's case, the bike he rides does exceptionally well on burly, big-mountain terrain.

I'd recommend taking your bike to the mountains and seeing what it's all about - it sounds like you've been stuck wherever you are for too long

Its his opinion on things, how does your opinion mean anything more than his, if he says mountain biking belongs in the mountains, thats the way he sees it. You criticizing his view on mountain biking makes absolutley no sense, im sure he has alot more expirience than you do ( not dissin you bud ), its what he does for a living, hes a professional, so clearly his point of view is going to be different than yours because you might not have the same lifestyle as him. Im sure if you did what he did, you might be saying the same thing too.
