 i tought the chain ring would be damage but wasn't certain about that.
I had the same prob with my demo to. i manage to snap the bolts on mine to! but i smashed the 4 bolts.

 Nice, i got myself a 550D with a 18-135mm len it's not has good as a 7D but does the job done.
