would of loved this video more if he had picked up his dh bike. What was the would cutting all about at the start?
I think that when he grabs his bike after the crafting was meant to represent the joy of riding after work.

How did I know while watching the video that when I looked at the comments the first one would be about a bro crying he didn't take the dh rig?
You missed the point of the vid xcrider...he built the bike...and then shreds it...and I would be happy to shred a trail even on a full rigid..
You would have loved it a lot more despite the fact that a DH bike would have been totally innapropriate for the style of riding being done?
Oops missread that..thought he made the frame..still cool that hes a crafstman, and appreciates a nice handmade frame.
i would say track cycling is F1 (finely tuned machines that carry out one task perfectly with minimum weight)
I like to think of DH as rally. Has to be fast, perfectly tuned, and is crazy. Plus it is way exciting and the fans have to stand in the woods.
Not in to seeing men in lycra. In dh you still go as fast as you can, same as in track racing but you do not have to dress like a giant condom. lol
I would recommend everyone to try and ride technical trail on a hardtail. Maybe they would get to apreciate the effort and skill that goes into riding like that and they would become better riders when riding their dh bikes. With that i mean using more of the "human suspension" and not mostly or entirely the shocks. I would leave the seat height option to personal preferences though
I can't ride that kind of trail with my seat way up or on a bigger hardtail than 19". This dude has some serious skill.

A lot of people are kinda missing the point here...
If the context seems confusing, go to their Ultramontane articles to see what they're about. Full write-up with dozens of banger images and 2 vids per bi-weekly episode! If your a passionate rider, I think you'll understand.

nice. maybe I'm just old, but I do love seeing someone rocking a hardtail in the winter. A real rider can ride anything. Although personally, I would have lowered my seat.

I know that weet-bix is an Australian cereal that the New Zealanders decided they wanted. And that New Zealand is like a small crap version of Australia
All i need to know is that your small minded and quite rude compared to all the cool aussies i know.

he has all nice bikes and he pickes the shittyest one to go riding what a idiot that bike was worth like 600 bucks
That is a hand made, custom steel HT frame with a great build... every steel tube has been hand filed and welded by the guy who designed most of the Cove Bikes line. The paint job is by Paint House Customs.
The fact that this bike is not worth $5000 doesn't make the bike shitty. I am amazed by the skewed perspective of people who don't know what a quality MTB is. Who's the idiot??
