Bangor University Mountain Bike Club visits a VERY muddy Foel Gasnach.
me and wet roots dont get on very well
I'd love a go there on the more reasonably sized 222 though, I had the patriot when I rode Foel, and that was the ride that convinced me something had to be done
haha, i told you it would be sketchy on steep stuff!
I think you kind of just need to get the hang of popping over things like roots. Living in north wales, there's plenty of sketchy roots and rocks to practice on! Dunno how easy it will be on the 223 though compared to the slayer...

hahah i got the technique fine, I just dont have much of that kind of riding near me to practise it on, It's something im working on whenever I ride at the moment... aim for the rootiest stuff possible... if theyre dry its fine, but dry and Wales isnt a working combination
