I don't thank the monster bottomed out I thank he just landed bad... I have done 45 foot drops and not bottom my monsters out!!! but he did land funny on to concrete so maby!!!
45ft drops are for style bosses only.haha. ahhh, no!! i got a secret brock, no one does 45 ft drops!
not only has brockoff88 done 45 ft drops hes also never bottomed his monsters out :O ! you bad ass mother f*cker
There's no way he bottomed it. The HSCV damping cart found in the Super T's, Monster T's, Super Monsters and early 888's are almost impossible to bottom out from a drop or jump because they're speed sensitive, so the harder and faster you compress it, the more compression damping the fork has. The only way I've been able to bottom mine out is to run no compression, jack the rebound damping up and then ride super fast stuttery stuf so that the fork packs up.
i hear ya, i've come close to bottoming my monsters on big shit, where my 40s bottom easily, impressive technology considering both have 203mm of travel and 40mm stanchions
actually stinkykid100 the 40 is supposed to be an all around fork just like the monster, not just a race fork eg: darren bearclaw's demo 8
it might be designed as an all around fork but it is a dh race fork when bearclaw uses a 40 its either that or there there 6 inch travel 36
don't try to sidetrack that 40's are meant for all around when you said they are "pure racing" we weren't debating comparison to other forks we were talking about whether or not it's designed only for racing or just being a generally awesome all around fork, but if you'd like to talk about that you can write on my noteboard instead of this page
It may be labeled as an all around fork because it can adjust the travel to 6 inches or 8. Other than that is is a DH fork.
Instead of a pure DH race fork i should have said suited more for Dh racing than freeride my mistake

I can definetely agree with more suited for racing, but it certainly doesn't suck at freeride, I also agree if I were to get a better freeride no doubt In my mind it would be a totem
He landed about 25 feet or 7m to flat. I havnt seen it my self but the witnesses told that he bottomed it out.. so i dont know for sure
they probably meant bottomed out as in landed at the bottom of the stairs, or were these witnesses real bikers who know wtf they're talking about, doens't look like 25 more like 15 tops and didn't look like bottoming

there is no way that is 20 ft! it is maybe 12 because assuming those guys standing at the side are 6 ft it is only about twice their height.
thats a pretty gnarly drop whatever peeps say.. especially with the FLAT concrete landing.. they're all just jealous they don't have balls as big lol
This is a big stupid gay thing! Bmxers like ALEX LIVE do 360s down a stair like this and they dont need stupid supermonsters...only a bmx!!!
i dont think so...
and this guy is a local rider. whats the purpose of comparing him with some bro bmx rider?
i would like to see some of you local bmxers hit this stair their bikes.
