We just started manufacturing systems. We should have systems ready in about 3-4 weeks. We're pushing to get these done quickly, to meet filming deadlines.

i think 3500 is a reasonable price, looks sick! what kind of power source do the use?

some large LiPo batteries. Even with additional accessories attached, they still last minimum 4 hours.
This is an expensive unit; but its for serious, professional film makers. We will be launching some other affordable versions in the near future. Thanks for your comments.

Build away dude! There are specific reasons why we built this the way we did; to deal with issues that may be unrealized by the average filmer. This IS NOT a consumer level system. It is meant for serious cinematographers. I'm sure you could build something similar for less; but I can guarantee that it will not have the same safety and security features that our system provides. And the performance of our system will far exceed what a hobbyist can build. When you have a RED Epic camera, worth 150,000.00+, hanging in the air. We'd rather be safe than sorry. We are working on a pro-sumer level system, and also a consumer level gravity system that will be much more affordable.
We appreciate your feedback and interest.
