 Poor rider pedalled his guts out and still had to roll most of the jumps. What gives?

 I was thinking the same thing... looked like he missed the first few and didn't allow him to carry his speed. Looks like there was some sick option jumps to the side of some of the jumps too!

 I know the rider, and he is World-Cup speeds at times. Its not his fault he wasn't clearing them, the trail is clearly very muddy and soft, hard to carry speed. Imagine A-Line with peanut-butter dirt.
