I stiill can't get why they get rid of the most spectator friendly discipline. Bring it back!

14 minute vids of one stop of a 4x race is not going to draw people into watching the edit, forget about the discipline itself, just saying. It's one of the disciplines that has the most spectator-friendly aspects to it but edits like this don't help. The finals and quali racing was sick but to be honest here, barely anyone gives a damned about the course walk, the numerous interviews or the multiple practice runs all bundled into one edit...

I guarantee you that if you made a 3 min. banger edit of all the ill 4x action it would double the views this got as well as it would allow ONE good song and also a focus on better editing/any editing at all. That last part is just a personal preference, of course.

it may surprise you but some people enjoy to watch the "pre amble" surrounding the event to get the bigger picture, especially since sam is pumping out the main edits for the exposure of the event in partnership with pinkbike, it's only right for him to be making a video that covers all aspects of the event.

^ It may surprise you but no one cares to get the big picture and those who want to watch 10 minutes of people talking are the minority. I feel that if I had the responsibility to create videos to promote events, I'd make them full of action that would appeal to every biker and not just hardcore fans. Show the action, show some interviews after the action, actually edit the footage and presto! Bob's your uncle.

why dont you go out there and make your own video then and see how many views it gets compare to sams. His videos are very well edited and filmed and very professional!

yeah, but it doesnt count it until the video has finished. So if someone didnt like it they wouldnt of spent 14 minutes watching it. Jus saying.

I dont think he needs any tips on his video making. He's already getting views. and you dont wanna cram all of this into a 5 miniute video. after all this event is Pinkbike sponsered...thats why its front page.
