Dude you were in the landing and made NO attempt to move. You claim to have been behind two pro photogs, but strangely they're not in your shot. Guess what that means? You were further out into the course than them. You could have seriously injured the rider. In fact, you did injure him and it did affect his race the next day (the Air DH) where he was just over three seconds off the podium. Nice work.

Ha, another comment from someone who hasn't a clue - you guys craic me up!! I have photographic evidence from other sites on exactly where i was standing that proves I wasn't in the landing area. But bring it on it's funny seeing comments from people who didn't see the incident but are experts on it - ha!

So I caused Ian Morrison to be 'off the podium'??? If a glancing blow on the shoulder caused his race to be ruined the following day then he should give up.

You sir, are an idiot! Don't try and claim there is photo evidence that you were not in the landing because you have posted video evidence that shows you were in the landing, in fact, you are the landing. Your video clearly shows you centered in the middle of the trail with NO ONE in front of you. Smarten the fuck up and stop putting riders safety at risk. Stand back with everyone else who didn't get hit by a bike.

If your point is correct, then how come I didn't get hit by the rider?

My camera was protruding into the track like numerous others were, in fact Brendon tw4tted one with his back wheel on the other side.

What happened was the camera, (which was a 75 x 50mm compact on a 100m long stick), hit his shoulder and got knocked out of my hand. I couldn't see the rider landing as I was standing behind two photographers with my camera protruding Btw them. The two photographers stepped back and just avoided getting hit, but as I was unsighted, I couldn't pull my camera in time.

Like I said, you know jack as you didn't see what happened, it's ferkin funny reading all you 'experts' - ha!!

If you pause it you can see that it just clips his shoulder, probs wasn't the best place to point the camera at, but don't think it would of affected Ian much at all.

I was actually standing behind two (professional) photographers and was behind the tape laid down by the SRAM guys with my camera held at arms length Btw them. The jump had a hip to the right hence why it looks like I'm in the middle of the track. Yes I was unsighted by the two photographers and didn't pull my camera in time, but the rider hit the two photographers and had also chosen to try and 'buzz' the crowd and landed wide, no other riders had come as close as him.

thats because your in the middle of the landing and Brendan went over us so yes others did get closer than him. Also the tape was ripped down and so was not actually a guide line as to were you should stand. Also it is not a hip and would hip to the left if anything! Also id like to point out that the rider was landing wide as what he is trying to do is called a scrub which involves carving off the lip hence the change of direction

The landing goes off to the right, I wasn't in the middle of the landing I was stood on the LHS of the landing behind the tape laid by the SRAM guys and it did not move on my side throughout the whole event. I was stood behind 2 professional photographers, one of them was a blonde haired woman that can be seen in the BTM RH corner of most of the PB footage of the event. Yes Brendan whipped over your heads and stayed on the RHS of the jump, Morrison went from far RHS to far LHS, no other rider came close to us on the LHS! Difference is Brendan is a better rider than Morrison, if that was a 'scrub' then he should give up! A scrub (as in Bubba) is designed to enable maximum speed and minumum elevation over a 'kicker' jump done by laying the bike 'flat' across the jump, he was NOT scrubbing, he was whipping.
