Mixed Feelings - Coastal Crew

Logging and forestry can be a love - hate relationship in our region. On one hand it’s unfortunate to see our massive forests be mowed down, but on the other hand the hundreds of years of logging have brought us access to so many parts of the mountains we ride around our home turf. This is an on going series showing the highs and lows of building our lines.

This is happening to my local trails at the moment, the trees were planted to be cut down and have provided years of riding so once all the trees have been cut down and replanted I look foreward to building new trails !!

Suuuch an inspiring video guys. I plan on going out tday and take that same outlook this guys have and build me so trails with my friends. Maybe we can start the next coastal crew series lol, i wish. BTW what wass the name of the SONG???

Forestry isnt killing tree and forest, its use them to fix co2 before tree die by himself anyway and release co2 in the air. If you do it properly and let the branch where the tree is cutted, you do it great cause branch are full of nutriment and main tree are not, just co2

Good attitude you guys, cause if there wasn't logging out there, there would be no way to get out there. Also some awesome videos you guys shoot and do some wicked riding!

J'imagine que tu parles francais, la foresterie n'est pas la destruction de la foret, mais bien l'utilisation de celle-ci. Un écosystème naturelle est un cycle de vie et de mort dans une roue dont l'être humain utilise pour pruduire divers matériaux. C'est d'utiliser la matière avant sa mort naturelle et son recyclage pour en conserver l'aspect fix de gaz carbonique (99% de la fibre de bois est du carbon). Si une forêt est laisser à elle même, ce carbon est libéré dans l'atmosphère et contribue au gaz a effet de serre. Il est par contre important de laisser les branche et brindille sur place. Source essentiel de minéraux servant à la croissance des plante.

Je sais pas si c'est clair à lire, mais il est important de changer la vision des gens qui connaissent mal la foresterie.

Heureux que tu m'apprenes ça,chez eux c'est peut etre le cas mais mon cas est différent!Un trail perso mais surtout un bien joli lieux entièrement raser aux bulldozer pour Créer un boulevard a touristes sur skis!
Mais je suis content de savoir cela,il est vrai que les forestiers ont souvent le mauvais role!^^
