i wonder how many rear wheels hes been through haha. i know ive gone through quite a few but im a total hucker
read somewhere you are supposed to drive with your legs and not worry about pulling up with your hands as much. it helped me.
So much easier to manual on a FS bike then a BMX or HT bike. The balance point on a FS is much larger. Also it's all about keeping those hips over your real axle as best as possible and yes drive those legs down.
Yeah, to manual don't pull with your arms, lean back with your hips. And let the suspension (i.e. the rebound) work with you, rather than against you by timing your leg compression with the suspension's compression.
i dont see how you can do one footer tricks with clip ons and then still clip back in during mid air ?
I was thinking that as well; he's only riding clips for some of the shots, the rest are on flats, eg 2:41
yeah but with downhill flats, especially mallets you can ride them like flats if you unclip and cant get back in straight away.
Yeah, except he isn't riding mallets, he's riding shimanos. And like said said before, he uses flats for the style shots but the rest of the time he's clipped and going fast as hell.
Best part is, 90% of the time he rides with Clips, and still does one foot downsides and all those other fun 1 footed things you all enjoy watching in this video.

damn this guy is good! props to transition for finding one of the best all around bikers i have ever seen
This is the first work of art that stoked me so much after Soderstrom's GoPro challenge. He's riding that bike as if it was a part of him. Definitely a vid I'll wach again very soon
The nose manual/press at 1:11 is amazing. Coming from a background of skateboarding and snowboarding, seeing this kind of progression come to the world of mountain biking is amazing.
