It's retro VOD tuesday! This is 7 years ago...1999. Pinkbike developers and friends ride bikes.
I remember that one from way back in the day!
bring on the middle school memories!
thanks radek!

Thats cause there has been this thing called progression since this video was made. Its not incredible by todays standards but back then that stuff was pretty damn big.
ever seen a pro bike video from that time frame nathan?.. oh probably not you were still pissing on your self in a craddle. like all sports, equipment evolves, and people push the sport. freeriding is still new at this time. i guess your to spoon feed these days to respect how things became what they are, i hope you don't represent the new generation, get fuct.
hey nathan661 if i had a pimped out bike setup excactly as cam mcaul i would just go and hit the first jump in my life and do a back flip tail whip
its the rider not the bike i know guys who can do drops like that on hardtails

then go ride your own bike and make a better one. oh ya.. and did you see the part about it being 1999/2000.. its called progression of sport, respect the past
dude you a dumass, i remember when this vid was first posted i thought it was so insane (i was like
i watched it like 200 times just over and over.
and back than it was insane the sport has progressed since than but you have to respect that back than these guys were f*cking amazing!
the lrt stair gap at the end is near my house and i know of only about two people on todays bikes that have hit it.
so shut the f*ck up a*shole.

I remember this video, it was awesome back in the day, I watched and paused it so many times. I remember that brick wall drop from a few videos back then.

haha..that was awesome. you guys were really ahead of your time! I like the bunny hop attempt by Radek, when he smashes his face on his front tire..I lost it laughing!!
reminds me how we started here, just in the same way, all those walls, drops in the city and the forest (maybe not that big but we kept trying anyway
), first dj hip, can say that times are the most special of all of my riding, untill lets say 2003...very nice vid, especially if you when when it was recorded
LOL i rember watching that video so long ago running out and looking for the biggest flat drops and hitting them... tranny is sooo much better.
yo that is one of the first videos i ever saw and it is responsibl greatly for my love of mountain biking
Man this video rips it up in a big way. 7 years ago and the things the crews were doing on their Bullits and Stinkys. Those bikes took the biggest beat downs and yes a few made trips to see the Warranty doctor, but ya'll were pushing the sport-great work!
honestly if your gonna comment on a video just to get negative props (^^), just dont, or at the very least make it a funny comment.
f*cking plug
f*cking plug

was pretty lame even back then...morgan wade tailwhiped and 3'd that roof drop like 2 years ago...on a bmx...no suspension no safety gear
I remember this vid! Haha. Does anyone have the video of Simmons and some other dude repeatedly hitting a big drop to flat that was in this video and braking like 3 cranksets?
[Reply]
When that video came out I was riding a Schwinn 4-banger.At the time 4 in. of travel could be considerd freeride worthy....cool video!!
oh my god! i had this video on my computer for years back in the day! i watched it alll the time! so glad this is back up!
Haha, I reconise about 50% of the locations in this video... and it still rules after seeing it so many times...
[Reply]
Hey Radek, it would be really cool if you could make another video re-visiting all the locations in this video, it would be sweet to see how ycling has changed in 8 years!
Man! This video is so cool!, this is really the beginning of everything for me and surely for many others. I remeber this was so cool watching and it should be like that for all the new riders now a days. RESPECT MAN!
