So I have heard a lot of feedback saying that the video was "difficult to watch" or something along those lines. I just wanted to address that in saying it was shot this way purposfully. I am sick and tired of shooting and seeing the same static shots being used in every video these days. I take a lot of influence in my shooting from the Stept ski movies and they are geting accolades and awards for their similar style of shooting. If you dont like a fresh look than just keep it to yourself honestly. I get tired of looking at the same unoriginal comments about how its a bit shaky in spots....
Although the shakiness did make it harder to follow the rider at some points however it does give a different feel to the video that I liked. Overall its a great video went to my favorites...
I really like how it was filmed, it gave it an underground and unknown feeling in my opinion. When using the steady cam though i probably would not start all the film from the ground up to the rider, maybe side to rider or sky to rider you know what i mean.
I am bored of watching these static shot films and love to watch edits of flowing shots, even thought it was a lil shaky in spots it kinda gives it a more realistic feel to the edit! Loved it keep it up!
Soon to be VOD, no doubt man, riding was sick, filming was sick editing was sick. Perfect recipe right there!
I love when a new style of mountain bike filming is born! Sick edit, and definitely sick riding and bike
i think he used a fish eye lens (cover or filter idk im a freshman in high school i don't know very much) i'm probably really wrong and i know im going to be given hella neg props cause of it but i saw a Adam lz bmx vid with a pretty similar film look and he said he used a fish eye lens cover so idk let me know with comments not props plz
Are these trails on Tiger mountain? Or are these a well kept secret? Looks like the funnest dh track around
They are a very well kept secret... It is a ridiculously fun track. Its like our own mini world cup course!
