Have you ever felt that panicked feeling in the pit of your stomach, knowing that something you love is about to come to end? "An Ending" documents Dylan Sherrard's last few hours of fall riding before the cold Kamloops winter hits.
I don't know maybe something is wrong with me but it was so close to cry when i watch this vid, so many emotions and this song makes me dream for a while, i don't have words to say how good it is.
Can some one tell my why this vid don't have VOD yet ? is better then thousands videos on pinkbike and really show the winter climate, riding can be fun no matter what is the weather and temperature, we love this sport to that level that there are no boundaries for us, we just go out and ride !
@m0jo there is nothing wrong with you! i felt the same way... especially because 2k12 was my last season... I had to move to Holland where there are aint no mountains at all... My heart was breaking while watching this video...
there is a bikpark in belgium i have heard...but of course i dont know where in nl you live. winterberg would probably an option too if you lived kind of close to the german border. why give up the hobby...you still can go riding in your holidays??
@xander8 more then enough riding near the Netherlands, Germany is closeby and has really good riding, so does Belgium, and even France is not that far away. Just takes a bit more effort, that's all
here xander8 this bikepark for example is just 2 hours from amsterdam.

i had the same feeling, the vibe was so amazing and the riding? dont even get me started...the whole video was beyond words! Great job guys!!!!
Mc fuggles your a fucking dick
Fucking American asshole. Your the definetion of a fucking white trash president we all hate.
That video was truly amazing to watch. I always like to see people riding through the winter because it shows that you can still have fun in maybe not the best conditions. Obviously Dylan rides in the snow as if it were the middle of summer. Sweet video by the way I enjoyed watching.
smooth video guys, so smooth like strawberry cream cheese on a freshly toasted bagel, and eaten at the right moment in the morning, right when the sun crests over the mountain and unleashes it's fury upon our dirt.
This video's like a breath of pure fresh air in mtb cinema industry. I even felt how cold it is.
so great and inspiring...
just like me right now fried the eggs n cheese n home made bread the coffee is in the mug and am watching this video then ist all the gear in the car then head for innerleithen to start the day no pump track though then bacon n egg on toast more coffee then alpine bikes go look at some stuff n say hello to the guys in the shop then glentress . i better make a move or all be wasting trail time .
This is one of the best videos I have seen on pinkbike. The cinematography is outstanding, the beautiful music by Brian Eno, put to the sound of the crisp snow, the editing, everything is superb.
Rather than simply being a MTB video with music, this stirs up emotion and tells a story..........
Kudos.
I hardly ever comment on stuff but this vid really deserves all the praise - truly captures so many emotions - great riding and a class edit - we need more like this...
That was a pleasure to watch.
You can tell that Dan Barham as loads of experience in photography. The framing and depth in the shots is simply amazing.

no freaking way i was just watching this yesterday an was thinking this is going to be VOD tomorrow and it is, that's CRAZY.
Wow! What a great vid! It's up there with the Loam Factory. Dylan has become one of my favorite riders to watch and follow. Kona has done well for themselves.
Best video I've seen in a while! Like the fire at the end. Always nice to relax and hang with friends at a good camp fire at the end of the day.
If I had to be hyper critical here, I would say he needs to work on his egg frying skills...
This goes straight into my favs...

Am i the only one that is a little upset that he rides twice as fast as me in the SNOW? No? Okay then i will shut up.
nice video,
bet you got the song from the top gear video in which jeremy drives the aston martin V12 vantage.
"An Ending (Ascent)". It's by a musical genius named Brian Eno (British of course). Inspired by the Applo space program (American of course). Whenever I hear this tune I think of Neil Armstrong. Although now I see this video too. Eno produced 2 of U2s greteast Albums and his music is featured in many films also. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Eno . This tune is also featured in the film 28 days later. He's kind of like Moby (but a lot better obviously).http://www.amazon.com/Apollo-Atmospheres-Soundtracks-Brian-Eno/dp/B000003S1E . I hope this is of interest.
"Kind of like Moby" !???
Just fell off my chair dude
Eno is a genius though. Any mountain bike video with this track deserves vod

There is mostly cross country where I live, but I have a lot of big hills by my house too that I started to build trails
