It must be nice to have land and trails like this within driving distance. I'm the only one doing this kind of riding within a hundred miles and most non-XC building is done solo...

We just got kicked off some land we had been building/riding and Really progessing on for 3 yrs. It was about 30km from my place. SAD SAD day that was. Matty and I spent almost every day there straight for a month last fall. Built so much that was new to us and allowed us to ride at a new level...
Where this vid was taken was a 245km drive from my house which puts it at prob around 150miles. It's getting tougher and tougher to find places where you can build what you need to progress your riding

Wow. Sorry... that's just a huge bummer. The closest I've come to that is talk of having features torn out of my usual trails. A university owns the land and its forestry dept. is whining about "features that aren't natural to the landscape". I hope that nothing will happen and we can continue riding and building.
