No, it is a cool word for saying trail, but with 20 to 30 mm more of travel, XC is like 80 to 100 mm travel in total. Ahhh,,,I don't f'n know, I saw a guy out on the trail riding a ten speed the other day and he said it is called cyclocross. Sure looked like it would hurt.

People train for cyclocross by ripping single track. or skinny tired mtbs with drops 'monstercross'. I was thinking the same though, this trail is super tame. Looks fun though!
