BMX'ers say what you want about MTB's this is more trails than most of us little wheeled guys ever achieve. Take a leaf, and go big isntead of pulling a billion combos over one jump

Would you please stop separating BMX and MTB? Its just a different tool for the same job when it comes to park, street or dirt...

Im a BMXer myself, i was just pointing out to my fellow riders that the hate is unjust. I was saying the same thing. Also Trails is not dirt, it is a different thing entirely, the fact i used the word trails is what makes my comment significant.

I was pretty sure "trails" as used by BMXers usually refers to dirt jumps?
I see what you mean, however you were saying that BMXers will never achieve such big air. For example, Dane Searls hit some reeeeally big jumps when he was still around.

No i wasnt.Trails is a lifestyle, those that build jumps to ride well, and ride to chill, the trail itself is enough of an obsticle and technical feat. Tricks dont play a big part, a dumped 360 or boost is all you need. Drt jumps are like a straight ocmp set of 6 made to huck over and pull the highest scoring tricks over. They are made to work, and possibly shoot you to flat, nothing more. What i was saying is there are a lot of posers in dirt who rock up to trails (not dirt jumps) and claim to be trails. they are evidently not when they 3 whip every jump. There is a lot of stick in Trails about MTB's just being huckers. All i was pointing out is there are exceptions, this is one of them. My main point is maybe all these poser fags should stop focusing on mimicking the robots in main stream BMX and look at MTB if they are pulling stuff like this. Now i have to say from what i have observed there are a lot more Trails BMXers, and a lot more Dirt jump MTBers. But there are exceptions like jimmy pratt.

Hmmm okay, sorry about the misunderstanding and thanks for the explanation. We use the word dirt in our country for both types of setups, probably because the scene isnt as evolved (not much dirt comps and stuff).

Its not comps, its the lifestyle, and the effort and passion involved. Trails are hips, berms, flow, and a winter of solid digging. Its about being at the spot together and cruising. Dirt jumps- think dew tour.

Everyone is so hyped for this, yet Mike Montgomery did a huge cliffhanger flip in 2011 along with the barhop backflip ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdSRbHbrLSI
