Everyone thinks it's lame a commercial got VOD!? I for one am glad to see race face back up and running after almost losing it last year which would of been a big loss for the MTB world. They also get my full support for being a Canadian owned and operated company that has keep'd its roots at home instead of bringing all their production over seas like so many other companies. Go race face!

quit it with all this bitching about advertising, imo these companies put a lot into our sport and all the content on pinkbike is free as well so if you don't like it don't watch it

Uhhhh... and none of the other videos aren't? Are they just telling us what type of helmet, gloves, bike, etc. they are using for shits and giggles? Cool vid.

yeah, and its supposed to be Video of the Day, not Advert of the Day.. adverts are supposed to be off to the side in a little box, not on the front page of Pinkbike

Did you expect something else? I read the title and I expected to see the words 'Race Face' every where! Nice to see manufacturing process for a change rather than another guy whipping his way down the mountain.

VOD's aren't the only video's on Pinkbike. If you don't like the VOD, use the search and find a video you do like. Advertising is what keeps Pinkbike alive, and free for us.

Some bananahead tried to convince me race face went bankrupt last summer.. Please never let this happen and I will be showing him my 2013 components with a smile

But not harder beating than old one because spline is still the same and it is the weakest part of crank.
Arms of the crank can be the strongest how it is possible but if spline will be still the same crank will not survive too long.
Some one should design new spline because that what happened after half a year of riding in my RACE FACE EVOLVE DH : www.pinkbike.com/photo/8323497
Spline in crank to FR should be design to be tight without possibility to any movement under big pressure, the best if they would do conic on the end or some screws from the sides to block a motion.

Well, that being said saint cranks have never let me down.
Its notches are much smaller!
I dont like to see failure but yes if the spindle is the same then you will have the same problem eventually, ahhahahahhaha
RideOn buddy!

@Bogumil all Race Face cranks feature a new spline interface called EXI which is based on the ISIS spline system. EXI is a much more durable interface and is the evolution of the previous x-type interface.

I hadn't autocad in home but I made it in pint :

That's shows mistake of this crank, left arm with axle isnt rigid conected with right arm that's why spline will pulverize after some time.
SAINT has much better solution because spline is tightly screwed from the side by two screws.

I like the user-generated vids better myself but honestly everyone knows it's an ad when they click on it, and there was some good riding and scenery in it. I kind of like some ads, the gopro ads are awesome and the ESPN ads for the X Games too. What really pisses me off is political ads and product placement in TV shows and movies. Cause I want to watch the show or movie and not have someone try and trick me into being sold on something.
