in an old advert i saw a bmx rider shoot holes in his bike with a shotgun then ride it hard with no issues. i thought he was gunna shoot some dents in the bar then ride with them in this for a show of strength. although back then bmx riders didnt care about weight and made their bikes from 12 inch thick tubing.

either way its a vid thats portraying guns to be 'cool' as you yanks say an its wrong...yes this is pinkbike a biking website so leave the guns out of it.if it was illegal to posses a gun there would be less guns around.FACT.you talk about guns for protection....we have fists for that.the world would be a safer place without guns and this is comin from someone who knows alot about the armed forces an how war affects ppl.

Says the guy from the country that banned guns and still has a higher violent crime rate than the USA. Criminals are criminals no matter the weapons available to them; guns, knives, or mum's fancy silverware they all hurt people because of some individuals lack of judgement. No gun has ever forced or coerced its user to pull the trigger. You could make the same invalid argument for any item that could be used as a weapon. How would we all feel if they banned bicycles because people started getting choked out by chains, stabbed with QR's, or bludgeoned with handlebars. End rant. Now let's keep pinkbike what it is. Why only 200 in Canada when we have guns just like the states? I would assume that it's not the guns doing the killing. Also did you know a US armed forces veteran kills himself every 90 minutes. They had more suicides last year than KIA. Such a sad statistic. The problem isn't guns. Like said above. Get educated.

Canada has a lot of guns, and we have a lot of gun control too. If you know any gun owners or own any yourself, you're probably aware that while we can own handguns and assault rifles and all that, the laws on acquiring, using, transporting, and storing them are much more stringent than, say, the state of Georgia. Obviously it's up for debate whether or not our neighbours to the south could benefit from importing our policies, or whether our laws are even compatible with their culture and constitution, but trying to justify loose gun laws by pointing out that Canada has lots of guns is painting a very incomplete picture.

I am a restricted licensed owner. I see huge benefits in the way we restrict ownership. They argue in the states that they need guns for protection. Which is fine. But they should get rid of the concealed carry and restrict capacity. The point I was trying to make above is why when we have access to the same guns like an AR or Magnum handguns do we have way less fatalities.

CZ = Cam Zink.. Just like CZ = Arms Company. If I'm not mistaken the bars are also called "38 special" which is a caliber of round. It just fits so deal with it..
