My buddy Ryan and I wanted to create a little edit to showcase just a taste of the fun that can be had on our local trails here in Richmond, Va. We took a basic DSLR and a cheap tripod along for a ride around the James River Park System. Trails include Buttermilk and Northbank.

Great trails to have on your doorstep - they look a lot like the woodland riding we have over here in the UK, just a bit drier!

I've heard about Buttermilk before and how fun it is to ride. I plan on going down there and checking it out for myself this spring/summer. I live up in Northern VA and I usually ride places like Fountainhead, Shaeffer Farms, and wakefield.

I need something different and fun!

Absolutely, we've ridden Fountainhead and it was a blast. Definitely try and make the trip down to Richmond. More trail was left out of this video than was included!

agh! i wish i was still in NOVA/VAbeach. I just moved down to Alabama expecting some crazy good trails and I miss fountain head. This trail looks pretty sick too, ill have to hit it up when im back in town. Great shot of the track next to the railroad tracks too.

We love Fountainhead...super flowy stuff in Northern Va!!! The RaMORE trail crew here in Richmond does an unbelievable job keeping these trails up while looking for ways to expand the network for more trails!
