 Hell ya man I totally agree I need to hear the wind in my ears and every sound my bike and the trail are making I'm the same way with snowboarding focused on the ride and every little piece of it including the sounds.

 Main reason I choose not to listen to music! I ride to "get away!"

 Meh. I grew up playing rock, punk and metal. Most of it does nothing in the way of getting me stoked. There are some artists I like but a lot of it just bores and or annoys me. I'm not saying rock shouldn't be used at all for videos, I've just seen some edits that were visually very ethereal and then they have some metal band with a shitty screaming vocalist. Bad choice. Rock can get tired too. It used to be timeless but like everything else now, it's a product of it's time.

 I think this only works for this vid, cuz im not a big fan of this genre, but hey, what works works. Haha, and yeah, come on guys dubstep isnt always a necesity, lets be wise with the dubby-steppy-ness.

 yeah. i just had a run in with some nature activists saying that by using my GoPro i was ruining the natural beauty of California. it was pretty funny to be honest haha.

 It's not the smog, or the traffic, or the tattoo'ed junkies that ruin the natural beauty of Cali, it's the GoPro...

 well up here in marin county the worst it gets is Gopro's haha. everyone up here owns a prius and does yoga.

 Is this an alright time to ask "what trail is this?" Those are epic views. I'm in the area every once in a while and wouldn't mind a ride like that.

 Uh, then you need to watch some more vids of some WC shredders slaying corners. Mr Herbertson is a fine rider, but none of us are even on the same planet as the likes of Stevie Smith or Gee Atherton.
