2013 Whitefish Bike Park

Whitefish Mountain Resort is going off this summer, with around 4000 vertical feet of new lift access riding! I hopped off my excavator last Sunday long enough to grab some footage of locals Andrew and Zach tearing into some good old Montana dirt. More to come with a couple more weeks of building left. Enjoy the ride...

I gotta say that I am very impressed! Definitely need to make a trip down there this summer. Looks like the mountain biking is starting to parallel the skiing down there!

It's been a long time coming, but all the stars have aligned and management and the Forest Service are all on board now. As a local its so awesome to be able to go ride all day and not get bored now! If the resort sees money coming in they will keep at it.

Is there any tight tech rough steep style single track at all or is it all wide open jumps and berms? Love that stuff but also a fan of mixing it up in the trees and roots.

Yeah there is. Some of the new trails tighten up in the woods, plus there are some old school trails towards the bottom of the mtn that are super fun. Runaway Train, a trail off the summit which was built about 5 years ago, has some rocky lines that have worn in really well. I'll post some more edits later this summer.

Flash... looking good man. Didnt know you were kicking it in Montana... might have to make that stop of the All Gravity Series. That track looks SICK!

Next summer I will be there. My little girl will be rocking a Lil Shredder. Super pumped. Even skipping Whistler for this.
