 Indeed, rain sucks. Especially when they close down the lift. Colorado does have a propensity for lightning.

 I built my own trail in WA State. However, we were only on assignment for a few days in Crested Butte. Our assignment was to focus on Evolution Bike Park. So, no time to go out and build our own trail in Crested Butte. Calling people you don't know at all a "lazy ass" is very immature and judgmental. This goes for danonow above too.

 9,999 shovels of dirt & pent up opinions still hold true for all of us in this vid' & comment thread. we are sad mtn bikers when it is pouring rain too hard to ride(lifted or not)...

 Rain making it too hard to ride. You make me laugh.
One suggestion could be get a shorter travel bike/ lighter bike and cycle to to the top of the trails/ push up and session parts if you really want to get out.
