His rebound seems to be to fast, bucking his rear end off the lip of the jump sending his body weight forward and into a nose dive. Regardless of how stiff ur forks are, if u land nose heavy like he did your going to go over the bars.

Hope he's ok, may want to practice a bit more with body position and shock set up. Hitting any jump requires a certain technique, big jumps at speed can throw you or 'buck' you like that;

Perhaps he saw the landing, panicked and grabbed a fist of front brake. Then angular momentum from the spinning front wheel would be transferred to the frame of the bike, causing the bike to pitch forward. As others have observed, coming in to a landing at that extreme angle can only result in a trip over the bars.
His fork is actually quite hard on the damping. So he should have made it if he held the bar the whole flight.
By the way. His bike almost killed me after he threw it away
