looks like it will be so sick, i've watched the trailer like 10 times already, amagin(sp) how many times i will watch the film once i get it, it looks like they are focusing more on freeride now too which is cool

the reason those guys are legends is because they practically invented the sport of freeride mountain biking. those guys were the visionaries, and the people now are just picking up from where the others guys left off, they might get remembered for being the first to land some trick, but thats about it.

at first when i saw the title i was like oh shit not another nwd9 vod, but that was one of the best vods i have ever seen and i cant wait for the vid to come out

Lecondeguy does corked 3's off 15 foot dirtjumps, bourdo landed one off a 60 foot sender. I suppose you would say the same thing about Cam McCaul's flip over the canyon in NWD 8, people have been backflipping for decades so that means its easy...
i was never a fan of NWD series, because for me it's just not it, but i really though that NWD 9 would depart from the idea of having a narrative style trailers... once a good motion picture has came out with a certain style (F1RST by Clay Porter), everybody is trying to exlpoit it until it becomes porno...
no, it is not harsh because it is constructive ctiticism... maybe the trailers are slightly good, but not the videos themselves. who wants to see an hour of tricktionaries, slo-mo all the way, without real-time footage and no feel to the videos at all... i do realise it looks good when it is in slo-mo but it gets annoying after couple of minutes of watching. so this is my opinion and i'm sticking with it pretty much all the way.

nwd9 looks so much better then 8. im loving the fact that all the riders havea speech or w/e like in seasons. this definatly looks sick
thanks for the song name, and yea they needed more talkin in nwd8, u just couldnt like, connect or get motivated, cuz it was pure riding, and theyre so good that its like well i dunno how to improve. i find the taking really helps

Dude NWD style is gittin old. Change is good! I think this is goning to be much more hardcore vs teh collective, for one the music is way more pumped for the ridin, but i like a more methodical film that really draws me into the sport and not some BS wrestleing crap!

bike progression is moving so fast that eventually unless you bike everyday all day and have the kind of areas to bike that are good you wont become pro.

its gonna be good but its going to be one of thos films which doesnt have that much footage it has loads of interviews which no one wants to see.
nwd 9 didnt have really any interviews. while the rider was riding they had him talking in the background.

I agree with u snook, but in a wierd way i think it works, we all thought that seasons was the killer movie, but dare i say it this will give it a serious run for its money.....

Oh hell yes. This makes me want to push it on my bike tomorrow. It's time for a good educational crash!
This film looks like a real step up from previous offerings. The quality and effort put into the production and filming looks amazing and the riding is just goin nuts. Nice to see the Athertons in the new film because it's important for the series to keep up with the latest riders. Definitely going on my list of stuff to buy!!

He's talking figuratively... most people do not remember riders from ten years ago... it is fact... you know. There are not many pros that ride as a career for more than ten years. Some do/// most do not. Most Pro riders have a short shelf life. It is sad but true. The sport is progressing more than any sport ever... which is super-awesome to be involved is such a F'N awesome sport. MTBing Rocks!!!
