That's the Covert, I assume. We share the same handle bar... Let alone frames.. I'll bet it's nice to be back riding. The Covert improved my riding a bunch. Now I sound like a TBC commercial.

I recognized the shift sound even before I saw you had Xo grip shift lol. I love mine!!! Spot on every time and cleans up the bars with no crap hanging off. How you liking them so far?

Yuuuuup! Been running grip shift for ever, I love it, always have, always will. I even got a new Saint trigger shifter Saint derailleur set-up, for the NukeProof Snap I had, just to test and see if the grip-shift still shifted faster and had more range than the triggers and not even close, the grip-shift blew it out of the water.

Dude, first trail riding since last August, I was dying afterwards, hahaa.....then I had to go grocery shopping with the wife and kids after all of this, don't know how I survived, lol. But yeah that lake is super sweet, grew up fishin' bass in it since I was 7.
