Went for the triple, and hit the only spot on the rock with a square edge!

Konas... a friend of a friend (I know believable right) broke his process the same way cause he landed nose heavy and then the next day he did the same thing to his operator.

Was this friend of a friend named Henry? cause I sort of know of this kid who apperently cracked his Process and Operator within a day of each other.

You had more than enough speed for that triple what the f*ck happened?
  • + 5
Yeah, I just had to make it on top of that rock that I hit. Problem is I got bucked hard so my front end dipped about a good foot lower than it should have been and just caught the rock instead of a smooth landing on top. If you look at it in person, where I hit is the only not smooth part of the rock too, the right side is rounded over much more.

The kicker is, had I gone off the jump on the right side, it's much more mellow and probably wouldn't have bucked me + the landing is smoother if you come up short. Maybe I should check these things out a bit more first haha.

Got bucked eh? Might just need less rabbit.

That was a savage highspeed crash! Pretty short of that triple though. Nice to see you survived better than your bike.

not the longest but its a fairly techy out run with an S berm about 25m after it

That is the snoopiest geo I have ever seen XD

Hows your back feel? You must be one f*cking beast to be able to walk that one off.

Pretty much general post-crash soreness. Couple tight spots here and there in the back and knee but nothing that stopped me from riding this weekend!

Did you Rent a Bike then?

That's awesome to hear. Not many times can you say you folded a bike in half and walked it out.
  • + 3
hope you filled out your warranty card haha but in all seriousness that crazy
  • + 2
Way to go Mike... Get that thing replaced. Heading to Whistler on the 10th
  • + 2
Kona wont warranty it because I'm the second owner, and I can't afford the crash replacement since I literally just bought the bike a week earlier. I have a frame im borrowing for now and frankenbiked together but shes not pretty.

A carbon operator shall be on ur way from Kona hahahah
  • + 2
Hah, I wish. I tried but, used bike + crash = they don't have to warranty it. I got offered a crash replacement, but I just bought the thing so I'm pretty broke.

Surprisingly yes! I franken-biked an old shore frame laying around in my buddies garage and ran it last weekend with that same fork and it's working as good as ever.
