I don't know how this would work on the Solo Air but would appreciate you letting me know for sure! I find that the DH Coil does all the work on the drops and big rock stuff and that with the high speed compression fully closed this means I haven't ever had a bottom out to date. It's pretty much the first 50% of the travel which will move over the smaller stuff like fluid with the low speed compression wide open. I hope this works for you anyways, let me know how it goes

 very curious about your modification do you maintain the same amount of oil on braking and on big rock stuff doesn't eat all the stroke too fast mine is the solo air but going to try this cheers
