Brand new enduro 650b malfunction
We still can't figure out what caused this.

That looks like the derailleur hanger snapped. I had an old bike that used to do that all the time. It seemed to happen to me after I landed off a jump or drop. If that was the case here, what I found to help was keeping the gears shifted so that the chain is in the middle of the sprocket, so that the derailleur is more in-line with the bike. I hope this helps!

Yes, that is defintly a good idea you have there.
But it is not at all the case here.
He was sifted into a middle gear. And the derailleur hanger is fine.
Somehow the derailleur actually broke I the air and went into the spokes. It really made quite a mess
