Hey My name is Jared Beaucage, not good enought to get a sponser, but it would be cool im 15 years old from North Bay Ontario Canada. Tell me what you think of my riding, L8er
So, People on here are saying, I cant get sponsered cause of my weight? so if your black you cant run for president? thats what your saying, for anyone else who wants to comment on this video stating my sponsership cause of my weight, that doesnt make me say oh im giving up cause of my weight, ive had for the past 2 and a half years ive been riding, ive gotton so many people say that, your weight, bike sponsers dont sponser fat people...shit we live in a society now and days where theres so many fat people, id think it encourages all the 13 year olds on here who are like 200 pounds to say wow, that guys just as big as me, that would sell more product, to have someone on a team thats 250 pounds, thats not the average person size, im not hard on bike stuff at all, surprisanly enough, I dont bend wheels, or snap frames, ive ridden 2 mountain bike frames so far, over the past 2 and a half years, maybe 3 years, that i have been riding..How many people think sponsering bigger people would support bike products more, just cause canadians and americans are obeise?..would it not help to sell more product? IF ANYONE WANTS A FULL BIKE SPEC ON MY MTB OR MY BMX ill be glady give it to you...im not hard on my stuff..im not a HACK as most people leave comments on my videos..
ya full props dude people who care about that kinda stuff r f*ckin retarded cuz shit man ur good like that insane slider was amazing
You know why youre never going to be sponsored. Because you live in Norht Bay, now don't bitch at me it's the truth. To go pro or atleast get flow from a company you need to be have the resources. I'm mean you need access to parks or good dj's, you need exposer like contests or good quality videos, and bigger tricks, inventive shit that no ones seen before. I know for a fact North Bay doesn't provide any of these opportunities or luxuries. So everyone can drop this overweight bulshit. And any way if you're riding to get sponsored then you're doing it for the wrong reasons. On a side note, you rarely see a fat pro because they ride their asses of like everyday which burns off them cheeseburgers.
first of all you're a good rider, and as you asked i will inform you of what i think about your riding. millertime101 thats a good point but thats not the reality at all. there is a dense handful of professional bmx riders and even skate boarders who grew up in areas that didn't have any hook ups of any kind and it was extremely hard for them to be discovered. but i can tell that you, jared, you are determined and you are really serious about your riding. big riding today is all style and looks. its not because your obese, but if you continue riding hard you will become more agile and have more overall control. it will all come in time, that is if you are truly determined, that means focus on nutrition and take care of yourself. best of luck man keep it up.
P.S. you dont need to back flip to get sponsored. stick to street. there aren't only flow and some amateur riders, but even some pro street riders cant even backflip. stick to the streets if its what you love doing, and finally its all fun. don't forget that being a rider is about loving what you're doing. stick with it.

good job dude keep going you will get sponsors bro just gotta try im 270 lbs but a diffe4rent body design but it dont matter how big you are and prove it bro! I'm getting into dh racing next year hoping to get sponsors the reason im not this year is becausde i did my knee in and need to let it heal
that was uncalled for... just coz hes bigger and rides better then you doesnt mean you have to come up with completely unrelated stupid vulgarities..
little shits on pinkbike nowadays.. geeez

I don't think he was trying to be a dick. You good, but your not good enough for a sponser yet. Keep givin er.
Yep, you're pretty good, better than me, and I'm not saying if I was a sponsor I wouldn't sponsor you, but tbh I doubt you'd get sponsored just now, and bike companies tend not to sponsor larger people to be pretty harsh. I ain't approving of it, just saying what it's like.
ya so im sry bout that if some people took it the wrong way. i was just trying to say u need to keep practising and some day im sure ull get a sponsor
dude, ur better than me, keep going at it maybe a couple years and u will definitley be good enough to be sponsered
Dude, I don't think your weight matters shit all. for me that was f*cking inspirational, and shows that biking is open to absoloutly anyone. I have to say that when the video started and I saw the size of you I thought you were just another one of those kids. You proved me wrong, big time. I think it'd be good for someone to pick you up and sponsor you, it's a great incentive to bigger kids that wanna do biking but think they can't because of their size. I've always said that whatever you are, black, white, skinny, overweight, you can still ride, and that's all tha matters.
Keep it up buddy!
Keep it up buddy!
hey, great job man your really good for your age, i think if you toke that skill to a skate park you'd do better too. I think you do better on a 26 those flat 3's are nice, i think you sould just ride 26. But that slider was amazing...
yo guy so where are you now? all these vids are from 2008. post some new stuff! your tricks are good. the only thing you need to get sponsored is to hit some bigger stuff. id like to see a vid in a skatepark or a DJ session. if you can do 3's flat and barspins etc, think of the shit you could pull if you have a bit more time off the ground. the slider was dope. you got freecoaster game. i hope your keepin it up and not letting all the haters get you down.
Whoa Jared, just stumbled upon your video here. I have to say you have improved a lot since I've last ridden with you. In my honest opinion, I don't think you're ready for a sponsor just yet. Keep up the riding and it should come, but I think you need to work on those hop 3's because they aren't looking very nice. Have you tried doing j-hop spins rather than flatspins?
Either way nice vid. I'll be around this summer in the bay hopefully and will have a wooden jump and moss jump at my place. We'll ride, I have a few tricks to show you that I've picked up in my absence from North Bay.

Another thing I should add is, look for a shop sponsor. I know Momentum is closing down but check out Cheaps, North Riders, or even that new shop whatever it's called.
Id also wanna know if anyone who has left a comment on this video, is just as good or if not better then me? if so send me a link to your videos, all your profiles ive looked on i see favorite videos and pictures, and it alls says ur 13 , 14, or 15..and no pictures of videos of you...
First of all, I don't think anyone here said you couldn't get sponsered because of your weight. Weight has nothing to do with it, me being a heftier rider myself, and too all you people saying he's fat, get a life because it's not funny at all. Who cares about his weight, all that matters is that he gets outs a rides. Really I don't think it matters if these people are as good as you, it's just sense that your most likely not good enough to get a sponsers for your riding yet, I can see why your getting mad at the fat comments, but don't get mad at people for stating that your not good enough for a sponser, give it a year or two and maybe you will be. Remember too, sponsers arn't always looking for amazing riding nessesarly, a lot of has to do with who you are as a person and how active you are in your riding community.
man looks sick im in the making of a vid myself to try and do the same thing just keep at it... if this helps i have talked to a few companies and they all say make a resume sort of thing and send it in in the fall that is when they say they look at stuff good luck
keep going strong might want to think about a helmat in abbotsford its a 100 dollar fine because some punk kid cracked his head up in with out a helmat on. (just a thought dont know what the law is over there).Just because your big dosent mean anything
your fat but i aint talkin bout ur weight dude im talking bout your skill u got some fat skill, your good, get some tailwhips going and i can guarantee you wont have anyone commenting saying "ur fat u wont get sponsored" etc... keep it up
So your saying there is something wrong with his weight?
The way you put it sure sounds like it. There is nothing wrong with this human, he is a normal fully functioning human being.

Yeah, definitely need to go bigger on jumps and drops. And i don't know why everyone wants to get sponsored. I have friends that do backflip x-ups, flairs, tailwhips, and stick 30 foot plus drops no prob, and they aren't sponsored...I think being just a descent rider who is humble is a lot better than a mediocre rider begging for sponsorships and putting everyone else around him down...
Once you get good enough for a sponsor, companies would love to have you on there team. I would probably say not for montain bikes because you have to compete, and do well in compotitions mainley for there sponsors. also they focus on slopestyle/freeride, not street mtb. You seem to be more bmx orientated and once you improve abit id say you could get a sponsor.
not trying to be mean , but for soemone your size thats sick for what you can do , ive been trying to 3 flat for a while and i cant do it , ya i agree with others keep it up and you could.
if you can hit some bigger stuff, you may get sponsered some day, also you should get good as dirt and park too, spnseres want people that can do all types of BMX, i kknow Fit bike co has one guy they sponser who's "bigger" to say it nicley, so dont listen to whoever says your too fat, keep it up dude!!!
u r freakin amazing its making me so pissed off right now that people r talkin about your wait your wait is your problem not theres so keep ridin screw the peple that put you down i will garent u that u will get sponserd
Duude you shredd it for your size, thats amazing, hell i dont see why a team couldent use someone like you.
could ya tell me the song?
keep sendin' it and youll be sponsered in no time

ill be an ass hole and ill tell you the only sponsor you can get is for fat clots. and thats good its not bad youll be sponsor rider for Billabong XXXXL sizes
dude finally a bigger guy biking im so sick of people hating because apperently you have to be the skinniest guy on earth to be good
ey bro, don't know what's up with some of the people above. thats some great riding, don't know about sponsors n stuff quite yet, but u got skills. keep up the good work
no hes not. robbie morales is f*cking crazy. if thats what you ppl think your f*cked. morales is actually good. he goes off the ground more than a f*ckin foot

and your wrong again. morales is a co owner of fit. f*ggot
yo mate you canny good and that shit about people not sponsoring larger riders gove two more years you might pick up a sponsor. just look up robbie morales. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=WnV8yzJf37k.
Keep going man, youll get that sponser. Not now, but maybe later. but do get a helmet, in my eyes if you wear no helmet your an idiot.
when i first saw the title i expected to laugh when i watched the video .... but you are pretty dam good, that slider you did got me stoked to buy a bmx haha .... keep it man
damn your good, I wish I was that good at 15yrs, (16 now , what a hack) but keep it up man, another way to get sponsored is by racing 4x, slalomn type of stuff, which is what I might do, nice slider btw!!
i just think you should go bigger (no pun intended). but you seem to just stay around curbs and parking lots - move on stair sets, drops, gaps, etc.
wow im definitly watchin that agin...keep ridin and yes they should sponser biger or overweight people it pobly would sell more stuff.
not bad if u loose a little wait u might get farther on ur spins and ur tricks will look more clean but good ridin

that one thing you did where you rode backwards with your front tire turned then slid out of it was so cool
