I had the same problem with the Code r ! Must bleed the brake and push the pistons into the caliper again.

brakes were bled yesterday. the shop installed new oil in the system as well. pads are literally new.

It happens to me the same after purging the brake. The problem is that the pistons are out of place , so I bought new pads. New pads do not leave space between the disc and them. Is the only solution... Avid=trash

pistons are in place, my pads are literally new. brake worked fine for the firts part of the ride, then suddenly went to zero power and pressure.
