You didn't need to slow down. If you were going too fast, then don't pedal as much as you did. I'm not trying to attack you, it just bugs me when people scuff their tire to slow down when they don't need to.

i find that riding chainless makes you smoother and flowier sice you have to pump stuff to get speed so then you dont waste as much of it and try to flow through your lines with more ease and conserve your energy. plus there is just less stuff to brak when you crash and it saves weight.
