They are probably riding footpaths they have never riden before. You wouldnt ride something flat out if you didnt know what was coming next!
They wern't wanting to go fast. They just wanted to have fun and enjoy the trail, and experience those amazing views. Although I probably would have wanted to ride faster, I respect them for that sick video. It really made me want to ride there.

However, come in the Alps and we'll talk about riding fast that trail : there's a lot of difficulties that we can't see on the video.

Awesome trail and you guys put a nice video together. Don´t hear these guys! Mountain biking is not about going fast or going big, it´s about having fun whatever you´re doing! Great vid, makes wanna ride!
The riding didn't make me go wow!, but the views were epic, and as i watched it, i wanted to go ride. And yeh, its not always about going fast/big. Nice vid.
the man is right. i've done this ride and it's almost all goat tracks from the summit to the top of town. no groomed biking trails at all. it's an epic descent, not some 15 minute blast. we had a full day there and did two descents, one from the very top and one from the station at the start of the film.
up there if you push yourself on a run like you can in whistler, you'll tire before halfway and you'll crash out soon after - still a long way from hospital.
maybe a couple of the guys from north america who are bashing the riding need to come to the alps for a couple of weeks?

I totally agree that this is mountainbiking. Having fun, be in nice mountains and just ride...no matter how quick cause you aren't at a DH competition.Props for you guys, nice film!

This video pretty much rips and makes you want to get out there. This is what they call free riding-most of the day, a bike that pedals and a pack full of gear and food. Awesome!
Well filmed and edited, very nice scenery and a good video. I did find myself skimming through it though.
congrats to vod thats really awesome but.....this is a very boring video. the only thing that resembles free riding is hiking back up. this shouldn't of been vod. way to lame and reptitive to be vod.

Mega props, very mellow. Just a couple of dudes enjoying their ride, you can't see their faces but you just know they have huge smiles. The true spirit and soul of mountain biking. Liked the ice at the top, tres chill.

ok the riders aren't nailing it - so what? I like the scenery and the trails are very flowy. this vid makes me want to get up early and start the day with an epic ride.
Nice I went there last week you 1400 downhill with rolling rocks shaky, very steep and technical portion... You may go faster than this 2 dudes but not sure you finish your day on your bike. You can take 100 diferent variants. No big jump and shaped trail = No Showing off person Just one of the best place to ride.
