a couple years ago the pinkbike downhill team was racing on R9's. super nice bikes, but a bit on the heavy side.

I dont think they went out of business. The business my dad works for used to own Sinister, but they weren't making a profit from them so they had to drop them. To my knowledge Frank the welder doesn't work for sinister anymore but Sinister still is very much in business.
