The park people said be careful with coyotes. And there's a big coyote (alpha maybe) roaming around now they say. I don't know if it's true but I've seen a small one at the campground. I'm scared for Rusty to be like bait or food Eek

@Jaromi15: Oh wow, scary! I have concerns about the big cats here, Ozzy likes to hang back when he follows me, I'm trying to teach him to stay close or take the lead....sharp spiked collars were invented for farm/working dogs protection

@Jaromi15: I know how you feel dude! I'm not healed enough to ride yet Frown tried it and it hurts still!

@baggyferret: was thinking maybe Rusty can be on a leash when he follows me. But the leash might get caught up on a tree branch or something. There's a beginner trail on the bottom of the bike park where I might be able to take him. Maybe when it's not too late of the day when coyotes come out.... MAYBE Eek

@Jaromi15: a leash would cause problems but he can't run off...it would be terrible to lose your buddy to a predator...it's a difficult situation for sure...i really dunno what to suggest....
