ya but the winters can be hard on you and your bike
and your not truly a messenger unless you have biked a full winter!!!

"call it earning your stripes"

thats just how it is in this business

well it really is not as easy as it looks you have to be there no matter the weather and you spend 6hr strait hrs out of 8hrs on your bike every day...the first week is the hardest to get through..if you think your fit lol the first week on this job will totally make you think again lol...after a week or so it gets easier...as far as pay depends on company generally you make 50-70% of delivery on each call you do..the more calls you do in a day the more cash you will make...so when starting out you won't make as much as a guy thats bin doing it for years ...but in a few weeks you can...its all about speed and fitness..all i can say is try it out and you will see what i mean....

you don't have a boss really looking over your shoulder
your sort of self employed
