no argument there, BMXing is sweet, but why claim they are wanna be bmxers?? thats like saying a snowboarder wants to be a skiier because he goes off piste. Different sports and both fun!

they might think that we are ingnorant in mtb but the fact is we share the same love for bikes so why cant u just let them do there chosen part of the sport and recognise there talent for what they chose to do!

I have a hardtail and a BMX. But I wouldn't take my Hardtail down the dirt jumps or skatepark, anymore than I would take my BMX for an XC or DH ride. Why not use the right tool for the job!
And builttoride; MTB DJ and BMX are not different. They are the same sport, just MTB DJ riders want it to be a different sport because they're not as skilled as equivalent BMXers. Having 6" bigger wheels does not make it a different sport. 4x riders have 24" or 26" wheels, they don't try and claim they need different competitions to one another.

ok... so based on that statement I could then say that BMXers are just wanna be mountain bikers. Come on man, It doesn't matter! People are just having fun on their bikes, no need for all the hate!
Well not really. BMX is where tricks are done first. Thats where the progression is. MTB DJ is just a way for companies like Kona etc to make a fast buck by promoting their hardtails to kids.

haha, I've ridden DH with Alan, and trust me, the guy can ride! He is an all rounder, he can go big, go fast, go tech, and does it all with style!

Yeah, I dont usually comment on the VOD/PODs but this was exceptional! Probably one of my favourite videos Ive seen here. Sweet riding, jumps, and looks like you were all having fun!
