Awesome video, awesome looking bike and some great editing in between. Loved how you made the song and the clips fit so well. Good VOD. -ep

The frame is made of cast aluminium. With the Cane Creek double barrel shock the frame cost £2395. And its sick.

thats what I thought about the casting. It has absoloutly no welds, therefore retaining strength!
Sick VOD

no it isn't, it's awesome, it looks like it hasn't been designed but was summoned from hell to rip open and bring death upon the gnarliest of tracks all over the goddamn planet!!

Sweet bike, read about this loooong ago in dirt or decline (one of thos) heard they had a VERY tough time competing with companies like boeing (who has landing gear cast as well) and trying to actually get their frames cast finally is a great breakthrough.

I was always under the impression that casting aluminum parts greatly weakened the metal. (Hence why all good quality crank arms are forged, and only really cheap crank arms are cast.) Casting a whole frame seems like a bad idea to me. And good welds aren't a week point at all. On a welded rim, the strongest point is right at the weld.

yeah i agree in less they are doing some speshial casting that no one knows about. casting is cheaper why is he asking 2300 thats nuts. wall mart bikes are not even casted cuse casting sucks. and the guy two above is right all the way welds are strong its the alominum around the weld thats week.

there is a reason why EVERY other bike manufacturer uses tubes to make bike frames. strength to weight it's simply the best. this bike might make up for it in some ways, but $4500 for a single-pivot dh frame is totally not worth it. This bike can be added to biking's failed inventions hall of fame.

cool video, but as far as the bike being cast.... cast aluminum alloys and steels are much harder, there for more brittle and easier to crack, thats not soemthing you want in a metal when it is constantly stressed. weakens much wuicker. i dont like it, but it looks good

To all those complaining that it's an ad. Where else do you propose bike manufacturers advertise their bikes? It's not exactly like we have many other outlets to do so (ie TV) so why complain? Support the new bike companies coming in, maybe it will actually be good for you?!?! Ever thought of it that way?! Thanks to all for the nice comments!

it's not stupidly expensive either at 2200 with a roco or dhx 5.0 (with a titanium spring ) also with a headset, chain device and seat clamp included. I was expecting it to be far more considering it's made in the uk and low production rates!

The one piece aluminum frame is a great idea, but I don't think casting is the way to do it. As mention in several comments, correctly preformed welds are in fact the strongest points on the frame. Due to the heating/cooling of the metal during ALL casting processes, this frame is undoubtedly super stiff, but precariously brittle. Also, watch out for the edged of the I-beam frame, I bet they're hellacious on the knees. Now, if someone were to MACHINE a one-piece frame, that would be something worth talking about...

That was basically an ad not a video.
Bike looked liked it handled the green puppy runs quite well - not exactly Dead Dog or something technical.
