They are capable of going 70 km/h. I would think on the straight section they hit 20-25km/h. It feels fast when your that close to the ground.

I know what they are capable of, they just put a limiter on them. They're no fun until you take them onto the streets! I had one of those things, and driving it around my house was awesome! Drift all corners, and no limiters on it. Add a bit of bleach on to the ground, unlimited fun! Then mod it a bit to make it go faster! Honda 5HP motors are fun on a little go/shifter-kart.

guys, give them a break. If you didn't know, in this video are the developers of the site, the guy's that run this site, for you. It's hard work you know, and this was probably their Christmas present, it may not be some super sick gnarly downhill in whistler but it's from the guy's who run this place. I think you should all stop moaning and appreciate the work these guy's put in to keep this thing up and running.
If you want to see some decent biking video's you're only a few clicks away from having the whole site's video's in front of you...

The other thing is by putting their own video, they can't be accused of bias'ness. I think a lot of people would want their video to be VOD on Christmas, some people could get cocky and all that. This way nobody gets it. It's just better this way

That was a lot of fun. It feels pretty fast when you are riding in those but I can only imagine not limited carts are even better. I can't wait to do it again...this time longer!

wow dude that's not a very fast time at all. Last go around my friends and I were averaging in the mid 30's and my fastest time was a 30.05. Careful when talking smack if you drive like my gramma.

TBC is an awesome place and smelling like exhaust fumes is just the added bonus.

these karts aren't capable of 70km/h..i used to race go karts and these are only 4 stroke...the hire karts have limiters which slow them down for safety

i own one of those karts lol, they haul pretty good, mine doesnt have the limiter those karts have, mine will do 85km/h-90km/h, lots of fun to drive

well i would, but no one will film me and its pretty hard to make a good video thats self filmed with a terrible quality camera. And then the couple feet of snow on all my jumps makes it difficult too.

I agree with timlake, those are the developers of the site, we get tons of sick videos all the time, this is one friggin day. I definitely think they deserve to be able to throw up a video of them go-carting or whatever,which does look wicked sick. Besides, whatever video would have been vod is still on the site, obviously. You just get to be the judge of which one it is. Peace
