Makes for a lower and slacker bike.. The bike that low and slacker to me corners better! Plus since your lower it inspires an aggresive stance so you tend to feel more comfy at high speed.

YOU FLIP THE LINKS!!! The shock mount backs-up about a quarter inch.

no it wouldnt snap the frame it probably wasnt made like this in production as the more agressive stance may not be suited to all freeriders as they had a seperate dh line
