I think you focus on not harming your bike more than you focus on your riding. Pick up a little more speed and don't be scared to shred hard.

Yep - work your way up to the larger stuff until you find your limit. It helps when you have a friend to help push and support you.

Video taping your sessions are also a good way to evaluate your riding and analyze what you did right, wrong, and what you need to work on.

It's also fun to review earlier video footage and compare it to your recent stuff to see how much you have progressed. Smile

Bueno... veo que no fui el unico en comenzar asi. Yo empece con una Schwinn Rocket PRO de 5" y ahora tengo una Big Hit. Cuando hacía mis primeras rodadas en los DH's locales daba miedo y poco a poco fui acelerando mas y mas. Al cambiar de cleta me di cuenta que eso ayuda un chingo a mejorar. Sigo mejorando poco a poco. Felicidades Bro... Big Grin
