this would look great filming a nice flat 360, or a roost out of a berm, or a tire tap, or a scorpion faceplant.haha. keep filming.

me ither; I am going to film some BMXer's in the next couple of days and I hope I get some mint footage; I am playing with a new Technic as we speak combining photos into video. kinda like stop motion but way more frames; if I shoot at 4.5 frames a second and get the actor to do what ever in slow motion. I can get some crazy results. I also found out that a function on the camera that is for taking hdr photos can be used in this way as well. With bracketing I can shoot a photo video that flickers just like the old film cameras but in super high definition with amazing clarity. I am about to find something to try this on as you read this. It took me 7 hours to learn the optical flow re timing you are seeing in this hair flip video. But now that I know how to do it; optical flow re timing is not that hard. This month will be full of experimentation. To find out what I can truly make that is totally different. You wait till you see the flickering videos that I am talking about. should be epic. I bet ppl will ask me to make a whole music video like this. I know I want to; I just need a better memory card I am only using a 2 gig card, and I can only take like 800 photos then have to switch cards; I am trying to get the money to get a 32 gig card, only cast like 120 bucks now. So I will try and see if there is someone I can make a video for locally; there is a company that wants me to make them a video filming an eye surgery. I never thought I would be asked to do that, but it sounds pretty crazy. lol

this is optical flow retiming in motion 3. shot on 60 frames a second then speed up and slowed down with motion.

Ah, ha. Hence I understand the "optical reflow timing" description. So 6ofps sped up, "time-lapsed" then slow-mo'd using Motion 3. But with a trailing "ghost" type effect?
Nice effect and effort bro, isn't it fun experimenting with your equipment, no?!

Optical flow is dope. I used it for all the slow mo in one of my old video's. Check it out.
