always people try to diminuish 20" bikes and riders, just like they are for crazy litle kids. Remember that they came many years first and open the way for everthing else. In deed, some tricks on 26" looks ridiculuos and pre-historic compared to bmx.

was not harping on the fact it is a bmx, actually i started on bmx bikes when i was 5 yrs. old, just the shear magnitude of the drop and the fact he was trying it to flat. that landing would destroy just about any bike whether it be 20, 24 or 26" wheeled.

and i totally agree that most stuff, if not all, being done on mountain bikes in regards to street/urban riding was pioneered on bmx bikes. i actually have a theory that most "pros" who do dj/urban on mountain bikes are just riders that could not make it as pro bmxers (let the flaming begin).

a full face helmet would have saved him a lotta pain and injury. Im sure he woulda had a serious head ache but would have saved the teeth lip and nose. And the wheel, what a bad brake, he would have made that jump perfectly.
